Analyze This! When we were at the state fair Friday, in between watching the kids ride the rides and Leo & I lusting over hot tubs, we got a handwriting analysis done. Here's what mine said about me: You do not indulge in daydreams, but establish realistic goals. You find it annoying to be rushed. You are deeply sensitive to your environment. You have big plans and expensive tastes. You often seek advice but usually ignore the answers. You make friends by being a friend. There is a corner of your heart that no one will ever see. You have the talent and the ability to realize your ambitions. You may unintentionally be insensitive to the feelings of others at times. You have a playful spirit and positive attitude. A good chase revs up your romantic motor. You are loyal to your family and friends. I gotta say, they are pretty much all applicable, especially the 2nd and last ones. Leo & I also came up with our own version of the "Priceless" commercial about taking the kids to the fair. 4 armbands @ $20 each = $80 assorted food & drinks throughout the entire experience = $100 One solid hour of complete silence on the way home because the kids barely made it out of the parking lot before falling asleep = PRICELESS! It was fun listening to them the next day talking about the things they had the most fun on. The first few rides they rode were ones that spun them in circles. Then they got on a big boat ride that swung them back & forth in an arc. Nobody had any problems with the spinn-y rides, but D got off that boat thing and was pretty pale and green around the gills. She said she didn't feel so good but the other 3 wanted to keep going. Leo took her to the bathroom while I (tried to keep up) went with the others so they could ride more rides. He said they got some water, sat & rested for a little bit, then started back toward the midway to find us. He said they were chatting away, and pretty soon he noticed she wasn't answering so he looked around, no D. He looked further back, and there she was about 50 yds back with her head in a garbage can puking up her toenails (direct quote by the way). That was the only casualty. She didn't ride much for a couple hours but then felt better & got back in the swing of things. That's pretty much the story of the fair. Too much walking, too much sun, too much eating - corn dogs, funnel cakes, turkey legs, caramel apples, sno cones, etc. There was deep fried peaches on a stick, fried twinkies on a stick, alligator on a stick, and other oddities on a stick, but I didn't have the courage (stupidity?) to try any of them. That would have been a gastric nightmare for sure! Have a great week, everyone! Hopefully I remember my appointment on Thursday and can keep my days straight this week. { Last Page } { Page 1 of 25 } { Next Page } |
