Job, What?!? I Wouldn't Have Time for One Anyway

NO MORE PEPTO-PINK WALLS!  Those have been replaced by 1 burgundy & 3 khaki walls.  Much better! Shelby picked blue & green for her walls & pink for the built-in shelves she has.  The blue is nice, I can even deal with the little bit of pink....but the green is terrible! Really bright - but, she's the one that has to live with it, not me.  And we painted so that when you walk by the room, you don't see the green.  Thankfully there's a couple big furniture pieces that are going to be covering a lot of it up.

Between unpacking, cleaning, settling, painting and school, I don't know how it would have been if I'd had to work! I'd be much further behind, I can guarantee that! The way it was, I completely spaced off an appointment I had for the Displaced Worker program....I was supposed to go Thursday for assessments & testing to see if I qualify for the program...and didn't remember til about 1;30 in the afternoon that I was supposed to have been there at 8:30 that morning! OOOOOOOOOPPPPPSSSSSSSSSS!!!  That was day 2 of the paintathon. My sis & I had been up til 1:30 a.m. Wed. night and I got up at 6:30 to get Shelby off to school for the day, and went back home & started another round of painting...oh well.  I rescheduled for this coming Thursday.

Friday, Leo & took the kids to the state fair and were there from about 1:30pm to 12:00am. Ugggghhh! Yesterday, after all the painting and the fair, I slept til 12:30 and probably could have slept longer but D and Shelby woke me up.

That's the Reader's Digest condensed version of my week, I gotta get off the 'puter & do some homework!

Glad ya got yer painting done. YAY for you.

OOOOOOPS for missing the Displaced Workers thingy ma jij. Me hopes that when ya rescheduled they was cool about it. Me is hoping for ya so good luck.

Sounds like ya has had one hell of a week girl. Whew tires me out thinking about it. ;) ;)
